My old Kentucky home since 2012
I am currently in my 4th year of earning my PhD. in Musicology at the University of Kentucky. My proposal was approved in December so I'm currently working on outlining my chapters, taking notes, beginning to transcribe music (if I suddenly disappear at random times, it will be because of my dissertation). I specialize in film music with an emphasis on the music of science fiction cinema.
I can say that my dissertation will discuss Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927) a great deal
I also love Disney films, and discussing the music of animated cartoons.
I love all genres of music, the band 30 Seconds to Mars is my favorite though
